Held in Okawachiyama in late autumn, the "Nabeshima Clan Kiln Autumn Festival" is an event hosted in the "Village of Secret Kilns," which has inherited the traditional techniques of the Nabeshima Clan Kiln since the Edo period. Okawachiyama, designated as a National Historic Site, is attractive for its beautiful autumn leaves surrounded by screen-like rock cliffs resembling a landscape painting. In this historic area, visitors can enjoy strolling in search of their favorite Imari Nabeshima ware. It is a quintessential autumn event where you can simultaneously savor the beauty of colorful autumn foliage and traditional pottery.
