Hizen Yoshida Pottery Dragon Festival

About this event

Held every year in November, this festival honors the god of water, Hachidai Ryuo. In gratitude for abundant water, local specialties unique to Ureshino, such as ceramics and green tea, are sold. At the venue, visitors can enjoy conversations with kiln artisans and discover bargains unique to the pottery market. During the festival period, pottery factory tours are also held, offering a rare look at the production floors where pottery is crafted—areas typically closed to the public.
