Demonstration & Hands-on Experience Event (Special Exhibition: Inoko of Tsushima Related)

About this event

At the "Demonstration & Hands-on Experience Event (Related to the Special Exhibition 'Inoko of Tsushima')" held at the Tsushima Museum, participants can actually experience Inoko through songs and tools. Held in conjunction with the special exhibition "Inoko of Tsushima," this event allows participants to experience the traditional Inoko culture handed down in Tsushima. Inoko is a custom inherited mainly in western Japan as a festival to pray for prosperity of descendants, harvest celebration, and good health, patterned after the wild boar which gives birth to many piglets. At the event, opportunities are provided to understand and experience the culture more deeply by listening to Inoko songs and handling related tools. The event targets a wide range of age groups from elementary school students to university students and the general public, and participation is free. Held in the gallery of the Tsushima Museum, this event will be a valuable opportunity to feel the rich culture of Tsushima firsthand.
