2026 Tamana Fireworks Display

The 2026 Tamana Fireworks Display, held in Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture, will take place around the Kikuchi River Takase Bridge area. The launch is scheduled to start at 19:00, and in case of severe weather, it will be postponed to the following day, Sunday, October 4. Details regarding the number of fireworks launched, event details, and reserved seating will be posted as soon as they are decided. In typical years, approximately 10,000 fireworks are launched, lighting up the autumn night sky for about 60 minutes. Traffic restrictions may be implemented around the venue. Reserved seating is planned with S-seats chair seating (includes 1 dedicated parking space) for 5,000 yen, A-seats chair seating for 4,000 yen, and A-seats masu-boxes (seating 4 people) for 10,000 yen. Food stalls are expected to be present, along with stage events. Access to the venue is about a 20-minute walk from JR Tamana Station, a 25-minute walk from JR Shin-Tamana Station, and about 15 minutes by car from the Kyushu Expressway Kikusui IC. Parking for approximately 2,000 vehicles is available for free. The display begins with a 'Single Shot of Hope' to support every spectator's new step forward, offering powerful fireworks all the way through to the grand finale barrage.
