Puppet Show "The Mitten" from a Ukrainian Folk Tale

The puppet show "The Mitten", based on the popular picture book, is coming to Makubetsu Town Centennial Memorial Hall. Based on a Ukrainian folk tale, direction and script are by Kazumi Miyoshi, with music by Ken Kuriki. Highlights include the distinctively charming animals appearing one after another and the mitten that grows bigger and bigger. It is an interactive and fun performance where the audience finds and guesses the animals. From small children to adults, it is a program that the entire family can enjoy. The recommended age is 3 years and older, but preschool children can also enter for free (numbered ticket required). Please note that the venue will be darkened at times due to stage effects.
