A live concert "Beyond the border" featuring pianist, composer, and music producer Kunihiko Ryo and internationally acclaimed guitarist Kyuhee Park will be held on August 30, 2026, at the Main Hall of the Makubetsu Town Centennial Memorial Hall. Kunihiko Ryo is active across a wide range of genres from classical to rock and traditional folk music, engaging in album production for Asian pop artists, film, anime, and game music composition, as well as performing with orchestras and composing/performing for South Korean national events. His representative pieces are even featured in South Korean music textbooks. Meanwhile, Kyuhee Park is a globally recognized guitarist who has won and placed in numerous international guitar competitions, performed with domestic and international orchestras, and released many hit albums. In this performance, you can experience "Beyond the border", where their outstanding musicality transcends borders to create a new world of music. The performance is scheduled to start at 15:30, with tickets available for 6,000 yen for general admission and 2,000 yen for those 18 years old and under or disability certificate holders. Preschool children are not admitted.
