2026 Cosmos Festival

The "2026 Cosmos Festival", held at Miyakonojo City Nanbu Fureai Hiroba, is an event where visitors can enjoy cosmos flowers blooming in full glory with the arrival of autumn. A variety of programs for adults and children are prepared, including a hot air balloon boarding experience (advance reservation required, registration closed due to reaching capacity), a park golf tournament (advance reservation required, participation fee applies), and a flower arrangement workshop using recycled plastic bottles (free, registration on the day, first 20 participants). In addition, flower fields will be illuminated, allowing visitors to enjoy the magical atmosphere of cosmos flowers at night. Food and beverage stalls will also be set up for visitors to enjoy gourmet food. Held to coincide with the full bloom of cosmos flowers, this event allows you to fully enjoy autumn in Miyakonojo City.
