18th Tsuwabuki Half Marathon in Nichinan

The 18th Tsuwabuki Half Marathon in Nichinan will be held in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture. Set against the backdrop of Nichinan City's warm climate and rich nature, the event eagerly awaits the participation of many runners. Starting and finishing at the Nichinan General Athletic Park, the race course runs through Nichinan City. It is an official Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) certified course, and in addition to the half marathon, categories for 5 km, 3 km, 1.5 km, and parent-child 1.5 km are available. Capacity limits are set at 1,600 participants for the half marathon, 150 for 5 km, 150 for 3 km, 100 for 1.5 km, and 50 pairs for the parent-child 1.5 km. Eligibility requires healthy individuals capable of completing the distance of their respective category, with parental consent required for those under 18 years of age. Parent-child pairs must consist of one adult and one elementary school child. Runners with disabilities may be accompanied by one guide runner. Despite being a certified course, it features minimal elevation changes, and nearby hot springs and tourist attractions add to its appeal. Children can also participate in the event.
