2026 Kanoya City Welfare Festival

About this event

To cultivate human resources responsible for community welfare, create opportunities for exchange, raise interest in community welfare, and further enhance social welfare in the city, the "Reiwa 8 Kanoya City Welfare Festival" will be held. At the event, an award ceremony will be held for those who have contributed to the improvement of local welfare in the city. Additionally, a keynote lecture titled "Together with Future Leaders! Tips for Community Building Where Everyone from Children and Youth to Seniors Can Shine" by Hiroshi Murayama, Director of the Research Department at the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology, is scheduled. Furthermore, the "Volunteer Festival - Volunteer Quest," featuring activity introductions and merchandise sales by volunteer organizations, will be held concurrently, providing an opportunity to deepen understanding of community welfare and promote interaction among participants.
