3rd Satsumasendai City Sports Festa

About this event

The "3rd Satsumasendai City Sports Festa" will be held to provide an opportunity for everyone from children to seniors to casually enjoy sports, while aiming to improve athletic and competitive abilities. The event is held in a format where participants can experience and compete in various sports as a local community, family, workplace, or group. In the morning, competitive matches such as dinosaur races, a 1-hole ground golf challenge, beanbag toss (tamaire) competitions, and a 400m relay will be conducted, with certificates and supplementary prizes awarded to top-ranking teams. Participation in the competitive matches requires advance registration, with designated team compositions, application procedures, and deadlines. In the afternoon, a challenge session offering 22 different sports experience programs will be held, along with a stamp rally where participants who try 5 or more programs can receive a gift. No advance registration is required for the challenge session. At the venue, food trucks, exhibition booths for fire department, police, and Self-Defense Force vehicles, and health check booths will also be set up, offering plenty of enjoyable content beyond sports. Taking place at the Sports Park, this event is a great way to fully enjoy the autumn sports season with family and friends.
