About this event
Satsuma Town Cultural Festival is a cultural festival held from October 31 (Saturday) to November 1 (Sunday), 2026. Admission is free, and the festival is organized by the Satsuma Town Cultural Association, where 41 groups and 292 members are active with the aim of promoting and enhancing culture among town residents. At the venue, a wide variety of works including tanka, haiku, obi tying (obi-musubi), and photography will be exhibited. Additionally, on stage, performers from diverse genres will showcase their performances, including Itsutsu Daiko drums, traditional Japanese dance (Nihon buyo), karaoke, hula dancing, and chorus, providing entertainment throughout the day. The program is currently being prepared and is scheduled to be announced on the official website and other channels as soon as it is completed.
