2nd Activity Festival 'JOIN NOW 2026'

About this event

The '2nd Activity Festival JOIN NOW 2026', held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Ishikawa Sports Park Multipurpose Plaza in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture, is a hands-on event combining food education, sports, and entertainment. Founded by former professional baseball player Yuta Omine, the event embodies his desire to convey the importance of dietary habits based on his own experience. For this 2nd edition, a wide variety of activities are prepared, including a basketball clinic (featuring former professional basketball player Yuki Ueta as a guest), Catch Ball Classic, a softball clinic, and a Pilates session. Additionally, the stage will feature live musical performances, athlete talk shows, comedy shows, dance and Eisa performances, and calligraphy demonstrations. The Food Education & SDGs Talk Show will discuss behind-the-scenes dietary stories of former athletes, as well as social issues such as child poverty disparities and hunger. For children junior high school age and under, 100 free 'Food Education Bento' lunchboxes will be provided on a limited basis, offering an opportunity to learn the importance of eating through meals. With various areas to eat, play, and learn, the venue promises a day that the whole family can enjoy.
