The Kadena Town Board of Education is hosting the "Haisai! Ichariba Festival (Lifelong Learning Festival)." This event allows visitors to engage with culture and arts, experience diverse learning opportunities, and can be enjoyed by parents and children together. On the day of the event, public facilities around the town hall—including the Town Hall Entrance, Kadena Cultural Center, Kadena Miraikan, Rotary Square, and Rotary Plaza—will serve as the venue for a wide variety of activities. Food trucks and surrounding food stalls will be available, and the Child Rearing Support Center inside Rotary Plaza can also be used as a rest area. A distinctive feature of this event is that local children from Kadena Town serve as staff members, and encouragement from visitors provides them with great motivation. Through learning and hands-on experiences, this festival provides an opportunity for local residents to interact and share the joy of lifelong learning.
