Held in Kuroishi City, Aomori Prefecture, "Kuroishi Street Culture Fest Summer Jam 2026" is one of the largest street culture events in the prefecture, unfolding at the Tsugaru Traditional Craft Center from Saturday, August 22 to Sunday, August 23, 2026. In the free-admission "Asobu Area (Play Area)", visitors can enjoy giant inflatable play structures, water play, and a skateboarding area for beginners, along with about 30 gourmet food and craft stalls. You can enjoy powerful performances for free, such as shows by a total of over 200 dancers and collaborations between Japanese taiko drums and dance. Meanwhile, in the "Ongoku Area (Sound Area)" held on Saturday, August 22 from 15:00 to 21:00, many notable artists such as Dengaryu, Dongurizu, ZIN, and grooveman Spot will perform, allowing you to experience the passion of music. Although this area requires paid tickets, it will be a day to fully savor the diverse charms of street culture.
