Hirakawa Festa 2026, themed 'Food x Agriculture: Connecting Hirakawa's Blessings and Future,' will be held to connect the rich blessings and future of Hirakawa City. Sales will feature seasonal 'Tsugaru Peaches,' event-exclusive 'Hirakawa Peach Pie' made with rice flour, and 'Hirakawa Rice Curry' made with local agricultural produce and 'Hirakawa Beef.' Stage events include an opening ceremony, an opening event 'Hirakawa Food Education Gymnastics,' performances by local kindergarteners and students, a LIVE show & talk show by Jonagold, and the 'Hiraka 1 Grand Prix.' Additionally, various attractions will be held on both days, such as charity ring toss, woodworking classes, Hirakame turtle races, food education drawing exhibitions, healthy food tastings, sales of tomato, peach, and apple sweets, Aomori National Sports Festival event trials, smart agricultural machinery exhibits, free gardening consultations, dry landscape garden (karesansui) crafting experiences, giant ring toss, and mini tomato scooping. Around 50 stalls from inside and outside the city will participate, offering seasonal agricultural produce, food, sweets, and more.
