About this event

The summer main event of Sapporo City Jazz, 'North JAM Session,' will be held over 2 days to commemorate the renewal of the Sapporo Art Park Outdoor Stage following a year-long renovation project. On the first day, Saturday, August 29, hot sessions will unfold featuring artists whom Sapporo City Jazz takes pride in, including Tomoaki Baba and Shun Ishiwaka, as well as the new project 'acustica' and last year's contest-winning band 'Lambda Shift (Santa Ishiwaki Quartet)'. On the following day, Sunday, August 30, under the title 'North JAM Session meets BLUE NOTE TOKYO', artists selected by Blue Note Japan will appear. Look forward to these 2 days where jazz enlivens summer in Sapporo.
