About this event
"Owani Winter Neputa" is an event held in Owani Onsen-kyo, a hot spring district with over 800 years of history since its founding. Organized by volunteers, it takes place after the conclusion of the 2025 Owani Onsen Neputa Festival and Owani Bon Neputa. It offers an opportunity to enjoy the festivities for those who missed the summer neputa festival, guests staying overnight in Owani Town, and anyone looking to get excited ("jawamegu"). The event may be canceled depending on snowfall or weather conditions, and advance registration is recommended. Admission is free. For inquiries, contact Mr. Shimizu (Phone: 090-3648-5279). Same-day walk-in participation is allowed, but advance registration ensures smoother entry.
