e-Spo GOMI with LIDEAL Aomori in Owani Town

About this event

Held for the first time in Owani Town, Aomori Prefecture, "e-Spo GOMI with LIDEAL Aomori in Owani Town" is a unique environmental conservation event combining litter-picking activities with esports. Participants form teams of 3 and pick up litter within designated areas for 30 minutes in both the first and second halves, competing for points based on the weight and type of trash collected. During the break between sessions, a "Puyo Puyo Esports" tournament will take place as a halftime event, and teams that win in the gaming tournament will be awarded items that give them an advantage during the second half of the litter pickup. The event aims to raise awareness of marine litter issues worldwide and provide an opportunity to experience both outdoor activities and esports. It is organized by LIDEAL Aomori, a general incorporated association operating a soccer club based in Aomori Prefecture. Participation is free; entry is open not only to teams of family and friends, but applications by two or fewer people are also accepted, allowing individuals to merge with other participants to form a team. The event will be held rain or shine, but will be postponed to the following day in the case of severe weather.
