Kenji Festival

Held on the anniversary of Kenji Miyazawa's death, the "Kenji Festival" is an event where visitors can experience the world of Kenji's works. Starting with the laying of flowers in front of the Kenji Poem Monument, readings of Kenji's works, choral singing of songs based on his works, and plays will be presented. Remembering Kenji Miyazawa, who is fondly known as the brightest star of Ihatov, this is an opportunity to honor his achievements and rediscover the charm of his works. The event is held in front of the Kenji Poem Monument, where many people reflect upon Kenji's world.
