Kinoshita Kabuki's kabuki performance 'The Love Suicides at Amijima' (Accessibility Edition) will be staged at Sakura Hall feat. Tsugawa in Kitakami City. This performance incorporates subtitles, sign language interpretation, audio guides, and other features so that many people can enjoy kabuki. Kinoshita Kabuki is known for its style of incorporating contemporary staging into classical repertoires, and 'The Love Suicides at Amijima' is an arrangement of the puppet theater (ningyo joruri) play written by Chikamatsu Monzaemon. As an accessibility version that everyone can enjoy, viewing support services for people with visual or hearing impairments are integrated into the production.
