Sprint Across the Land of Recovery! Tyrannosaurus Race in Miracle Lone Pine

Set at the Takata Matsubara Tsunami Reconstruction Memorial Park in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, "Sprint Across the Land of Recovery! Tyrannosaurus Race in Miracle Lone Pine" will be held. In this unique event, participants wear inflatable Tyrannosaurus rex suits and take on a 50-meter sprint. In addition to the race, a variety of activities that spectators can also enjoy—such as a costume contest and a scallop shell throwing contest—are prepared, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the venue. In this land filled with prayers for recovery, the sight of dinosaurs sprinting vigorously brings energy and inspiration to onlookers. The event takes place around the Miracle Lone Pine after registration at Roadside Station Takata Matsubara.
