About this event
The "41st Ishinomaki City Art Exhibition" will be held from Sunday, October 4 to Monday (national holiday), October 12, 2026, at the Maruhon Makiart Terrace. Bringing together a diverse array of artists' works in one venue, this event provides a wonderful opportunity to rediscover the appeal of fine art. At the exhibition, visitors can enjoy Japanese paintings, Western-style paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, and sculpture up close. Another highlight is the cultural and interpersonal exchange fostered through art. Even those who do not usually attend art exhibitions can drop by casually and look forward to memorable encounters with wonderful art. Related events such as high school calligraphy performances, artwork explanatory talks, and calligraphy workshops will also be held, allowing visitors to experience the appeal of art from multiple perspectives.
