About this event

This commemorative lecture is held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Takikawa Museum of Art and Natural History. Featuring Kazumasa Mukai, a young fossil researcher from Takikawa currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Science at Hokkaido University, the lecture is titled "The Ancient Ocean Seen from Tiny Creatures: Chasing Undiscovered Fossils." He will speak about the small creatures that inhabited prehistoric seas and the fascinations of research in pursuit of yet-to-be-discovered fossils. Anyone is welcome to participate, with a capacity of 80 people. No registration is required.
