Yuriage Shirasu Festival 2026

Held at Yuriage Chuo in Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, the "Yuriage Shirasu Festival 2026" is an event where you can fully enjoy shirasu (whitebait), a local specialty. Highlights include free servings of fresh raw shirasu (limited quantity) and direct sales of boiled shirasu. In addition, "Kawamachi Shirasu Gourmet", featuring a wide variety of shirasu dishes from classics to unique creations, will make an appearance. Bringing excitement to the event is the meet-and-greet with the unique character "Shi-rassu". A "Shirasu Gourmet Stamp Rally" will also be held, where you can collect stamps while sampling shirasu dishes; achieving 5 points earns a 500-yen shopping voucher. If there is no landing of raw shirasu, boiled shirasu will be served instead. Free servings cannot be taken home. The venue is "Kawamachi Terrace Yuriage Nigiwai Hiroba", and opening hours are from 11:00 to 16:00. The event will be held rain or shine, so you can enjoy it regardless of the weather.
