Mizumusubi Fest 2026 in Sen-En Water Purification Center

Held at the Sen-En Water Purification Center in Tagajo City, Miyagi Prefecture, 'Mizumusubi Fest 2026 in Sen-En Water Purification Center' is an event where you can learn about water supply and sewage systems in a fun way. On the stage, there will be a talk show by Akihiko Honma, Japanese taiko drumming by Hamakaze Taiko, and cheer dance performances by TAGAJO STARS. In addition, the Sen-En Water Purification Center Exciting Exploration Tour allows visitors to tour the inside of facilities normally closed to the public. At the experience and craft booths, various displays and experiences related to water treatment can be enjoyed, such as pump games and laser-engraved keychain making by 'Sendai Kosen with Toripon', 'Fun Manhole Introduction', and 'Pump Introduction & Hand Pump'. Furthermore, there are plenty of programs for both children and adults, including the 'Great East Japan Earthquake Damage Status Panel Exhibition', Rifu Town Wastewater Lab!?, Catch & Learn! Big Water Adventure!, Make Keychains with PET Bottle Caps!, Working Vehicles Exhibition, Quick Draw Challenge with Water Guns, Master the Poop Way & Water Way, Play with Working Vehicles!, Play with Paper Bridges!!, Mizumusubi Laboratory, and a Microbe Observation Corner with Microscopes. Food and drink booths will also be available at the venue to give a festival feel. Prizes are also prepared for those who participate in the quiz rally.
