20th Osaki Welfare Dream Festival

About this event

The '20th Osaki Welfare Dream Festival' held in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, is an event themed on local community festivals that shares the history and charm of the region to revitalize hometown Miyagi. At the venue, in addition to 37 booths run by facilities for people with disabilities and welfare facilities within the prefecture, over 45 booths in total—including member companies—will offer food, drinks, general merchandise, hands-on workshop corners, and more. On the stage where the smiles and individuality of welfare facility members shine, performances by a wide range of performers—from local children to professional artists—can be enjoyed, including special live performances by Yohei Ito and Mizuki Saijo, as well as performances by the Kashimadai Elementary School Brass Band and the Furukawa Gakuen Wind Orchestra. In addition, there are plenty of activities for families to enjoy, such as target shooting games, Halloween candy giveaways, exhibitions and boarding experiences for ambulances, fire engines, and police cars (time-limited), as well as a fun grand lottery.
