Held in Misato Town, Miyagi Prefecture, Misatokko Market 2026 is an event where visitors can enjoy the sale of handmade crafts by artists from Misato Town and Miyagi Prefecture, workshops, food sold from kitchen cars (food trucks), and processed food sales. This year, a shopkeeping experience program run by an elementary school volunteer team called Begocchi-ya will also be held, allowing children to experience everything from planning meetings to setting product prices, deciding on the use of funds, decorating booths, and purchasing inventory. Stage presentations will feature creative taiko drumming by Koma no Kai, street kendama team Miyagi Kendama Crewz, HIPHOP dance team JUSTDANCE Misato, and a volunteer Yosakoi troupe from Misato Junior High School to liven up the venue. Performances by the Kogota Agricultural and Forestry High School Brass Band and the Misato Junior High School Brass Band will also be showcased. Aiming to make Misato a town where children will be proud of their hometown in the future and where adults will want to know and brag about their hometown today, the event provides a space like a one-day theme park under the theme of a future woven with smiles. The venue spans from Misato Junior High School to the Ekihigashi Community Exchange Center, and stage events start at 9:55.
