On Sunday, September 13, 2026, 'Tohoku Future Art Fireworks 2026 - March to Tomorrow Keisuke Kuwata SP -' will be held at SAKAN Athlete Park Torinomi Multipurpose Ground in Watari Town, Miyagi Prefecture. Taking place at Torinomi Park, a symbol of recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, this event is part of the 'Tohoku Future Art Fireworks' series ongoing since 2022. Marking the 15-year milestone since the Great East Japan Earthquake, this year's edition is conducted as a special program featuring fireworks launched exclusively to the songs of Keisuke Kuwata. Ever since the earthquake struck, Keisuke Kuwata has visited Tohoku on various occasions and continued to offer his support through music. Embracing his sentiment and realized following an offer from the executive committee, this fireworks display is one of Japan's pinnacle fireworks entertainment 'Art Fireworks' series. Keisuke Kuwata's music, direction by Japan's top pyrotechnician team, and the local residents and spectators coming together will depict a bright future for Tohoku. Doors open at 14:00, with fireworks scheduled to launch at 18:45. Viewing tickets are 8,000 yen (tax included), and the earliest application period runs from Monday, June 15, 2026, at 18:00 to Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 23:59.
