The annual "Hot Air Balloon Flight Experience Event" will be held at the Ochiai Educational Community Center on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Applications are open for those who wish to experience a hot air balloon flight. The event will take place from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The participation fee is 1,000 yen for junior high school students and older, and 500 yen for elementary school students and younger. Children under 3 years old are free of charge, but must be accompanied by a guardian. Numbered tickets for the hot air balloon flight experience will be distributed from Friday, September 11 to Wednesday, September 16, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the Yoshioka-shuku Honjin Information Center (Taiwa Town Tourism and Local Products Association). Capacity is 80 participants, and distribution may end early once capacity is reached. Up to 3 tickets can be distributed per person. The event may be cancelled due to weather conditions (such as heavy rain or strong winds). Pregnant individuals cannot board.
