The 17th edition of "Goryokaku Bar," a representative local bar-hopping event in the Goryokaku area of Hakodate City, will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026. In the bustling downtown district lined with unique dining establishments, around 40 diverse shops across various genres—including Japanese cuisine, yakiniku, yakitori, izakaya, bars, Italian, and ethnic food—will participate. Tickets come in sets of 5, available for 4,000 yen in advance and 5,000 yen at the door; one ticket can be redeemed at one shop for 1 pintxo + 1 drink, or 1 takeout pintxo without a drink. The event runs from 16:00 to 23:00 on the day, and its easy accessibility within walking distance from the "Goryokaku-Koen-Mae" tram stop is another great feature. Advance tickets can be purchased at participating stores or via online reservation, with an exclusive lottery held for online reservations. Ticket pickup begins at 14:00 on the day of the event at the plaza at the Goryokaku-Koen-Mae tram stop intersection. After the event, an "Ato Bar" (after-bar) system allows unused tickets to be used as discount vouchers. Non-alcoholic options are also available so that even those who do not drink alcohol can enjoy the event, savoring exquisite gourmet food centered around carefully crafted pintxos.
