Ayukawa Wood Craft Fair 2026

Held in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, the "Ayukawa Wood Craft Fair 2026" is an exhibition and sales event of woodwork products featuring unique creators who utilize the local resource of wood. A variety of wood and bamboo products meticulously crafted by local businesses will be for sale, including kokeshi dolls, toys, furniture, accessories, and daily household goods. At the venue, visitors can also enjoy hands-on model making of wooden arch bridges, as well as a free workshop where you can assemble kumiko woodwork and take it home. Furthermore, exclusively on October 12, a pom-pom making workshop using wood shavings (participation fee: 500 yen) will be held. It promises to be three days to feel the warmth of wood and people. Admission is free.
