98th National Fireworks Competition "Omagari Fireworks"

About this event

"Omagari Fireworks" is an event where pyrotechnicians selected from all over Japan compete with their techniques and creativity. It features both a daytime fireworks section and a nighttime fireworks section, with the daytime fireworks competition being the only one held in Japan. Fireworks shells, the culmination of pyrotechnicians' passion and technique, illuminate the night sky. From opening to finale, visitors will be treated not only to the competition fireworks, but also to a special program by the previous year's Prime Minister's Award winner and the highly anticipated, breathtaking sponsor-provided fireworks, magically illuminating the summer night.
