YAMAGATA Water Town Coffee Fest

In Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture, a "Water Town" where pristine water flows, the coffee-themed YAMAGATA Water Town Coffee Fest will be held. A diverse selection of coffees from popular shops inside and outside the city will be gathered, including cold brew coffee made with Nagai's water. A cup brewed with Nagai's ultra-soft water (hardness 20mg/L), which enhances the aroma of coffee, is exceptional. Food stalls featuring sweets, bread, curry, and more will also be present, allowing visitors to spend a relaxing time enjoying aromas and flavors. Tasting comparison tickets will also be sold, enabling visitors to find their favorite cup. The Bunkyo-no-Mori area where the venue, Kozakurakan, is located is an atmospheric place with many historic buildings and waterways remaining, and the art project "Minnaga Exhibition" will be held concurrently, offering an experience to "feel and connect" across the entire town. It is an event where visitors can enjoy a special time centered on coffee while feeling Nagai's rich water culture, history, and artistic culture.
