Tendo La France Marathon 2026

About this event

The 13th edition of the 'Tendo La France Marathon 2026' will be held. Welcoming 5,000 runners from all over Japan, the event features all-you-can-eat La France pears, for which Tendo City boasts the highest production volume in Japan, and hospitality with Yamagata's specialty 'Imoni' (taro and meat soup) after finishing. It is a tournament where you can fully enjoy autumn in Tendo. Event categories include the Half Marathon (capacity: 3,000 participants), Fun Run [5km] (capacity: 1,000 participants), and Smile Run [3km] (capacity: 1,000 participants). Participation prizes prepared include Tendo-grown La France pears, an official tournament original T-shirt, and a finisher's drink. Runner services include all-you-can-eat La France pears and the serving of Yamagata's specialty 'Imoni.' Due to high popularity, all categories have reached capacity and entries are now closed for this tournament.
