Nature Walk and Poetry Reading Gathering

About this event

This is an event held in the Iwanezawa area of Nishikawa Town where participants recite poetry while touring the nature beloved by the poet Kaoru Maruyama. Enjoy conversations while walking along the embankments of rice fields and looking at wild flowers. Volunteers will guide you through the nature where Kaoru Maruyama lived, reciting works that expressed the nature and people of Iwanezawa in poetry. You can enjoy a refreshing experience of engaging with poetry amidst nature. Each walk takes about 2 hours, and prior registration is not required. The schedule or contents may change depending on the weather.
