About this event

Set in Kitahiroshima City, Hokkaido, 'F Village and Cheerful Friends FUN! FUN! Halloween - Pleasant High Fives -' transforms the entire city into a stage for Halloween. Organized by 'F Village and Cheerful Friends'—a community where corporations, organizations, government, and schools unite to create diverse values and vitality in the city—this event can be enjoyed as a walking rally visiting 4 checkpoints. Participants can experience diverse activities unique to each area, including sports, cross-cultural/foreign language quests, farming/harvesting experiences, workshops, food, music, and comedy theater (Shinkigeki). By walking around the city while collecting stamps, you can also expect new encounters with people active in the local community and places you don't usually visit. Participating in costume comes with a candy gift, making city walking even more enjoyable. In addition, orange Halloween gloves will be gifted to the first 500 visitors at the East Exit of JR Kitahiroshima Station, and giving high fives to people wearing orange will boost the city's excitement. Fighters Girl as well as Frep & Polly will also make appearances, enlivening the venue through greetings and stage performances. Furthermore, a mini farming experience for parents and children, 'Yukanaka Farm,' will be held at a separate venue, allowing you to feel the connection between soil and food through sweet potato digging and rice polishing experiences. During the event, there will also be surprises with Halloween 'zombies' appearing in the city; summoning your courage for a high five might lead to unexpected encounters. The checkpoints are packed with content enjoyable for children and adults alike, including sports tag, martial arts experiences, quizzes on foreign cultures and languages, cooking experiences with freshly picked vegetables, and 'Yukashin,' an interactive comedy theater full of ad-libs.
