The Annual Grand Festival is held in late August every year at Suwa Shrine, enshrined in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture. In 2026, it is scheduled to be held over two days on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23. This festival is an important event conveying local traditions and faith to the present day, gathering many shrine parishioners and local residents. Although specific details of the festival have not been released at this time, it is expected that community-rooted events centered on Shinto rituals will be held as in usual years.
