Handayama Komorebi Market (Komomake)

Held in Koori Town, Fukushima Prefecture, the "Handayama Komorebi Market (commonly known as: Komomake)" is held to commemorate the Kenpoku Regional Tree Planting Festival and the unveiling ceremony of the Handa Property Ward Memorial Monument. Held at Handayama Nature Park during the beautiful autumn season when the mountains begin to change color, many local businesses from Koori Town, specialty shops, and kitchen cars will open booths. Visitors can collect stamps by shopping in each area of the venue and enter a garapon lottery to win luxurious prizes. A bingo tournament with luxurious prizes is also scheduled to be held. Guests with pets are also welcome and can enjoy the event together as long as manners such as keeping pets on a leash and taking droppings home are observed. Free shuttle bus service from Koori Town Hall to the venue is also scheduled. It is an event where families can enjoy the entire day while admiring the superb autumn views.
