Kawamata Coffee Festival 2026

About this event

"Kawamata Coffee Festival 2026" will be held in Kawamata Town. Set in the closed former Iizaka Elementary School, coffee shops from inside and outside the prefecture will set up stalls, allowing you to enjoy comparing their signature coffees. This year's theme is "Central and South America," and special cups brewed with beans from Central and South America will also make an appearance. By purchasing a coffee ticket booklet (set of 3 tickets), you can taste a variety of coffees. In addition to coffee, light meals, sweets, local specialties of Kawamata Town, and soba noodles will be sold, allowing you to enjoy a special cup that can only be tasted here at the venue. Access to the venue is about a 30-minute drive from JR Tohoku Shinkansen Fukushima Station, or take a JR bus to Kawamata Koko-mae and walk for 5 minutes.
