Rekimin Friends Association Festival 2026

Held in Miharu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, the 'Rekimin Friends Association Festival 2026' is an event hosted by the Friends Association of the Miharu Town Historical Folk Museum to present the results of annual activities and deepen exchanges with visitors. At the venue, you can see various exhibits produced by each group: an exhibit on the Miharu dialect by the Dialect Group; an exhibit of beautiful hanging decorations and a free hands-on workshop to make them by the Hanging Decoration Group; an exhibit of produced earthenware and a wild boar dogu (clay figurine) making workshop for 600 yen by the Jomon Pottery Group; and an exhibit of original kamishibai (picture story shows), a kamishibai performance, and a free kamishibai crafting workshop by the History Kamishibai Group. There are plenty of interactive activities that anyone from children to adults can enjoy. A photo exhibition by association members will also be held, showcasing a wide variety of activities.
