About this event
The Kido River, flowing east and west through Naraha Town, is a special presence for the residents of Naraha Town and forms the foundation of their daily lives. In this commemorative lecture, the charms of the Kido River basin, academically fascinating in history, archaeology, folklore, and legends that characterize the region, will be explored. While its flow rich in nature creates fertile land, another aspect brought about by the Kido River, such as flooding, will also be introduced. Kazuya Sakamoto, director of the Naraha Town Historical Museum, will serve as the lecturer and unravel the multifaceted appeal of the Kido River basin.
