9th 3-Prefecture Border & 5-Prefecture Walk

About this event

The only place in Japan! This is a unique walking event where you can visit three prefectural borders and walk through five prefectures in a single day. You can enjoy the precious experience of walking through rare locations alongside walkers from all over the country while exploring historical and cultural heritage spanning five prefectures. A new 20 km course has been added this time, allowing participants to walk toward Heartland Castle. Three courses of 50 km, 20 km, and 12 km are available, allowing you to join according to your own stamina and pace. The starting point is the Watarase River bank (next to Koga Golf Links and the Shozo Tanaka Monument), which is within walking distance from JR Koga Station and Tobu Line Shin-Koga Station. Recommended lunch spots include Roadside Station Kazo Watarase (Saitama Prefecture), Roadside Station Sakai (Sakai Town), and Koga Kubo Park (Koga City). It is held in a free-walking format so you can enjoy it at your own pace.
