13th Grimm Forest Festival

The '13th Grimm Forest Festival' held in Shimotsuke City, Tochigi Prefecture, will take place over two days on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Grimm Hall in Grimm Forest. Visitors can enjoy the event from 10:00 to 16:00 on both days. The event features the 'Forest Concert' where performances by musical groups from inside and outside the city can be enjoyed, as well as the 'World's Best Whistling Show!' by Mariko Takagi, who is active in the International Whistlers Convention. In addition, there are plenty of programs for children and adults alike, including police vehicle exhibitions, pump truck ride experiences by the fire brigade, water fire extinguisher experiences, and fire-resistant clothing try-ons (for children). In the park, food stalls and popular food trucks will appear, allowing visitors to enjoy gourmet food. Furthermore, hands-on attractions are available such as park strolls on a mini Shinkansen, a bouncy house where you can play inside a large 'Kampi-kun', and original can badge making.
