About this event
Held in Takanezawa Town, Tochigi Prefecture, the "Tantan Festival 2026" is themed around its 15th Anniversary and is organized with wishes for its long continuation into the future. On the day, food stalls will be present, with the festival highlights being the "Tantan Botchi Lighting" and fireworks display lighting up the night sky. The event will run from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the fireworks scheduled around 5:30 PM. The venue is the former site of Higashi Elementary School. Sponsorship contributions for operations and fireworks are also being accepted from individuals and corporations, with a sponsorship application deadline of September 30, 2026.
