About this event
Held in Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture, the "Nasu Short Film Festival 2026" is a short film festival screening 29 works selected from 336 submissions received from Japan and abroad. The works are divided into 5 programs, with each program being screened 4 times during the festival period. An awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 15, where the Grand Prix and other awards will be announced. The venue is a special venue at the Echigo Beer Nasu Brewery. This festival provides a valuable opportunity to experience short films across diverse genres, aiming to promote visual media culture and revitalize the local community. Submissions were limited to works within 30 minutes under an open category. Works that passed the initial screening by the executive committee will be screened as nominated works, and the award-winning films will ultimately be determined through judging by the panel of judges.
