Held at the Shinto Village Earring Museum (Shinto-mura Mimikazari-kan), the 'Earring Museum: 2026 Autumn/Winter Workshop & Obsidian Arrowhead Making' is a workshop where adults and children alike can experience the joy of craft-making and encounter Jomon culture. In the 'Autumn/Winter Workshop', where adults can also experience special activities that were popular during summer vacation experiential learning, activities include making stone tablets (gamba), tube bead bracelets, colorful comma-shaped magatama beads, and coasters. In particular, at the highly popular annual 'Jomon Workshop 2026 Obsidian Arrowhead Making', participants can attend a lecture by an expert on life during the Jomon period before taking part in the rare experience of actually crafting arrowheads out of obsidian. This workshop is also ideal as an opportunity to learn more deeply about the Earring Museum.
