The "Oshi-Cabbage General Election '26" will be held for three days from Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the agricultural direct sales store "Asama no Ibuki" in Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture. At this event, visitors can taste and compare 10 varieties of Tsumagoi cabbage carefully selected by young farmers. After enjoying the taste test, vote for your favorite variety to determine the "Oshi-Cabbage" (top favorite cabbage) of 2026. Because voting is conducted with the variety names hidden, you can make your choice based purely on taste. The results are scheduled to be announced on social media after the event concludes. Additionally, on Saturday, August 22, popular food trucks originating from Tsumagoi Village will gather to sell exclusive menu items made with Tsumagoi cabbage.
