Yubatake Candle "Yume no Akari" (Dream Lanterns)

About this event

"Yubatake Candle 'Yume no Akari'," a candle event that envelops the night of Kusatsu Onsen in soft light, will be held. Approximately 1,200 candles will be lit on the stairs below the mountain gate of Kusatsusan Kosenji Temple in front of the Yubatake, creating a magical scene. The warm lights layered on the stone steps leading to the vermilion mountain gate, together with the steam rising from the Yubatake, create a beautiful sight. A harmonica live performance is also scheduled to be held alongside the candle event on the day. Listening to the melodies surrounded by candle light near the steaming Yubatake will make the night at Kusatsu Onsen even more memorable. The event may be cancelled in the event of rain or strong winds.
