Toda City 60th Anniversary Memorial Ceremony

In Toda City, Saitama Prefecture, a memorial ceremony will be held to commemorate the 60th anniversary of municipal administration. On the day, an award ceremony for the creators of the 60th anniversary logo and catchphrase as well as the 'TODA Mirai Post 2026' ceremony will take place. In addition, calligraphy, brass band, kids dance, and Japanese wadaiko drum performances by local groups will be presented, looking back on 60 years of history together with citizens and aiming for further development of the city. Attendees will receive commemorative rice celebrating the 60th anniversary of municipal administration. During the ceremony, awards will be presented to individuals who contributed to the promotion of local autonomy, performed good deeds, enhanced the reputation of the hometown, worked for many years at businesses within the city, or individuals and groups who made donations for the public good. The creators of the 60th anniversary commemorative logo and catchphrase will also be honored. Letters of appreciation will be awarded to individuals or organizations that donated for the public benefit.
