Wa no Saiten: Japanese Performing Arts Festival

About this event

Held as part of the 61st Cultural Festival of the Niiza Comfortable Future City Citizens' Festival, "Wa no Saiten" features presentations of traditional Japanese performing arts including wadaiko (Japanese drums), minyo (folk songs), minbu (folk dances), and shamisen. This event is a reorganization and unified naming of the stage performance division. Taking place at the Niiza Civic Hall on Sunday, November 15, a diverse array of performances of wadaiko, minyo, minbu, and shamisen will be showcased. It will be an opportunity to fully appreciate the appeal of traditional Japanese music and dance. As parking space at the civic hall venue is limited, using public transportation or carpooling is recommended.
